Happy Leap Year, except for the fact that had it not been for the 29th, we would have had a positive month by over 0.65%.
My monthly distributions are going to remain 100% in the C Fund. Although we seem to be riding the fence on which way the market will go, based on my analysis and methods, the S&P500 appears to be in an island of stability. While this area of stability has lower returns than other areas of stability, in fact the average monthly returns hover around 0%, it means there is less likelyhood for a dramatic change in the near term. My portfolio has actually improved from the last few months on the Sharpe Ratio, and I expect to see very modest gains month to month. As for the F Fund, its safe harbor is not necessary while we are on this island (sorry for the metaphor...).
I'll post more about the island in my blog in the coming days. Happy Investing!
