May 2016
This month was a pretty decent month. Although the S&P500 lost about 1.25% in the last week of the month, the C Fund still ended positive for the month. However, my model and analysis are recommending that I move 100% of my investments and allocations to the F Fund. This might just be a temporary move for the month of May, but like we saw late last year, this type of move does not occur very often in my plan, and when it does, turbulence seems to be around the corner-even if it is only just a hiccup of a month or two.
You can see that the standard deviation and average monthly returns of the C, S, and I funds are all very high with very little or negative returns, and these factors are weighing heavily on this move.
