I hope everyone is enjoying their pre-4th of July Holiday weekend. As I mentioned in my post for June, I think the markets have really absorbed all the stressors from the politics in the US, the Brexit turmoil, and the multitude of other geopolitical issues and will continue to remain inside their standard deviations for the rest of the year. There continues to be concern in the US economic indicators, specifically around technology and media stocks and the mortgage market. How all of these indicators translates into the TSP Funds is very hard to assess, but the larger stocks will definitely impact the C Fund, which we saw last month with a small but positive return. I continue to remain positive on the three stock funds and will completely shy away from the F Fund barring any major upheavals at home or abroad. For those interested, this aspect of my program is what differentiates my system from the Lifecycle funds and other programs. Have a great 4th of July and keep investing!
