Fall has arrived and with it the end of month returns. If people listened to the bearish talk and moved out of the C, S, and I Funds and into the F Funds, they would be very disappointed. The S Fund performed exceedingly well this month, something that my system neither predicted nor capitalized on, but that is the nature of the market. We are having our best year since 2013 and we are beating all of the Lifecycle Funds and all but the I Fund this year. I think the I Fund has been something of a surprise, and with the risks it brings causes me some caution. However, I cannot ignore its performance, and I cannot ignore the S Fund's incredible run, so therefore I have shifted more assets into those two funds and away from the C Fund. I do have to ask myself how long this bull market can last with Apple and other tech stocks faltering somewhat this month, but with a GDP of 3.1%, I am encouraged by a more sustainable growth in both the US and International markets. Coupled with a bipartisan tax plan, I think we can confidently "Keep Investing!"
